The SA Male Prostitute has removed all the posts from his blog, so where does that leave all the bloggers who commented on it, have posts on their sites that draw attention to it and make the same implications as the original blog did? If I was one of the people mentioned I would have my tail up now that it’s patently obvious the allegations weren’t true. In fact, I’d want to sue for the publicity because I have the moral high-ground.
Yeah that’s what I’d do. I’d sue 40 or 50 bloggers because a) I know it will be ALL over the media, b) I can’t really lose because it’s a text-book case of defamation and c) the bloggers themselves now have egg on their faces and will probably turn on each other quicker than a pack of wild dogs.
Funny that the traditional media was being criticised for not spreading this message a week ago and turned out to be right. Like I said in my previous post, this was a stupid and hypocritical battle to pick.
