Tyler starts by evangelizing technology, saying its complimentary to our lives, that it improves communication and makes the world stateless.

As technology gets seeded down to younger generations it becomes like furniture. We have adapted to small screens and mobile is a key area for marketers going forward. We speak a different language when we use mobile applications. Mobile devices have become the Swiss Army Knife.
The youth market gives continuous partial attention to a wide variety of devices and platforms.
“Information is so easily accessible that we don’t actually care about knowing it” – referring to being able to find out anything at the click of a button.
Quote of the day: “I watch Oprah, I am a metrosexual”
We produce and consume, what I want when I want it, it puts me in the centre, don’t forget my friends.
When engaging the youth: make it quick, cheap and easy. Market through multiple channels, be a friend and make us belong. Don’t try be cool, be entertaining and interactive and don’t push, let me pull.
Tyler’s presentation was refreshingly direct and interesting, big up.
